Jeg velger meg Molladalen !
Vel det som skulle være en tur gjennom vakre Molladalen til Grønetinden ble en tur nesten til Svinetinden. Litt dårlig kart lesing og orientering, ført til at vi havnet ca 300 for kort. Litt usikker på om det er mulig å gå fra toppen vi var til Svinetinden. Neste tur vil det bli forsøkt.
Uansett, har du aldri vært i Molladalen så har du noe å se frem til, rett majestetisk – en perle. Heftigere utsikt mot tinder og topper skal du lete lenge etter, Norges finest.
Rute beskrivelse :
- Fra Festøy følge E39 mot Barstadvik.
ca. rute fra skaret mot Svinetiden - Ved Coop ta av opp mot Erdalen (Melbøsætra/Barstadsætra bomveg)
- Fra parkeringen, følg fin sti oppover mot Molladalen
- Første del av ruten går gjennom skog.
- Ved Ædhaugen (1,2 km) er det åpent terreng og du får flott utsikt til bla. Middagskornet og Klovetinden.
- Fortsett på stien langs høyre side av ravinen/elva, bratt ned så vær forsiktig.
- Det er lagt ut kjetting ett kort stykke her.
- Stien fortsetter opp mot Storevatnet. Ta en pause her og nyt utsikten,
bedre enn dette får du det ikke. - Fortsett på T merket sti på høyre side av vannet (se kart under)
Svinetinden i forgrunnen. - Stien går bratt opp mot eggen mellom Grønetinden og Svinetiden.
- På eggen drei av mot høyre og fortsett fremover mot Svinetinden.
- Ved først høyde, gå på nedsiden av denne, å gå over er ikke mulig
- Det er ikke noe merket sti her
- Se bilde til høyre for ca. rute fram mot toppen.
- Det er rimelig bratt her så trå forsiktig.
- Svinetinden ligger ca. 300 m bak enden på ruten, se bilde til høyre.
